Overview
Dr. Misty Fuller is a Marion L. Brittain Fellow at the School of Literature, Media, and Communication. She received her Ph.D. in English from Louisiana State University, with a Minor in Communication Studies, in Summer 2022. Her primary research interests include composition and rhetoric, educational rhetorics, institutional rhetorics, Writing Program and Center Administration, writing pedagogy, first-year writing, and experiences of first-generation college students.
Dr. Fuller currently has two forthcoming chapters: "The Sad Now and Its Joy: The Histrionic Futurelessness of Educations" (with Dr. Jimmy Butts) in Problems B Us and "Decide as a Class: Effort-Based or Traditional Grading" in Dynamic Activities for FYC. Additionally, she will be publishing an article, "Where I've Been and Where We're Going: Academic Culture's Work Towards Inclusivity," in a special issue of College Composition and Communication on Cultural Rhetorics.
