Overview
Kelli R. Gill is a rhetoric and composition teacher-scholar whose work lies at the intersection of culture, power, and digital technologies. Her current research project examines conflicts within digital food genres and communities in order to better understand the emotions, politics, and structural violence enacted in everyday online spaces. Her past work has been featured in publications such as Across the Disciplines, Double Helix, and Trace. She is also the founder and manager of the scholarly website: FoodRhetoric.com, an open-access resource for learning and teaching at the intersection of food and writing.
Here at Georgia Tech, Kelli teaches within the Writing and Communication Program (WCP). She is a member of the AI Literacy Community of Practice, a grant funded program supported by the Provost Teaching and Learning Initiatives. As part of an interdisciplinary team, this project seeks to develop ethical, responsible AI literacy practices for writing classrooms and instructors within the WCP. Additionally, she serves as the faculty advisor for the GT Debate Team.
