Gina Kruschek is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow (2019-2022) in the Writing and Communication Program in School of Literature, Media, and Communication at Georgia Tech. She completed her PhD in Rhetoric, Writing, and Professional Communication in 2019 at East Carolina University, and MA in Rhetoric and Composition and BA in English at North Dakota State University. She has taught a variety of courses and was instrumental in formulating curriculum by co-authoring the standard department textbook at East Carolina, Writing in Professional Contexts. Her pedagogy is always informed by feminist and WAC principles which she uses to help students develop contextual awareness of rhetorical situations. Currently, she studies disclosure practices among populations who identify as having a highly stigmatized illness.
