Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow

Andi Coulter is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on music marketing, user engagement, and short-form video in social media. Her book Suicide’s Suicide in the 33 ⅓ music series was released in September 2020 from Bloomsbury Academic. She is currently revising her manuscript for a book on short-form video from MTV to TikTok. Her technical communication courses look at disruptive design and the creative economy in Atlanta. Heavily involved in the arts community, Dr. Coulter’s past technical communication courses have partnered with MODA, the Puppetry Museum, Live Nation, and the Trap Museum. Dr. Coulter worked for twenty years in the music industry and is a member of the Atlanta Music Project as well as a frequent host of WAYO’s Introvert Extract.
