Linthicum Gives His First in a Series of Talks at SFI

Up first in a series of both live and virtual upcoming environmental programs, Dr. Kent Linthicum will be giving a talk at the South Fulton Institute for Art, Culture, and the Environment. His talk consideres historical environmental justice efforts and how it has been portrayed in popular media. Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower, N.K. Jemisin’s Broken Earth Trilogy, the Game of Thrones series, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Battlefield 2042, Civilization 6, and other media are part of Linthicum's case studies.

Linthicum's talk will last for 45 minutes and will be followed by time for questions. The online event is scheduled for September 19th at 3:00 PM EDT. Interested folks can register here.
